Windipine is a true Brown County style cottage with handmade interior woodwork throughout the cabin including knotty pine walls. Its name is derived from the sound of the wind rustling through the pines scattered throughout the property. In the wooded backyard you will hear and see nature; turtles in the pond, wild turkeys, and families of deer. Guests' record their "Critter Count" in the guest book.  Make sure you include your sightings!

In the summer, lightning bugs and chirping tree frogs add to the serenity of the setting. Gaze at the stars from the hot tub on the back patio.

The interior features a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace in the large living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with a Dutch door that leads you onto a screened, stone floored breezeway. The dining table in the living room seats six. Two bedrooms feature double beds in antique frames with a bathroom between them.

If you have a large group of family or friends, they can rent Robyn's Nest, the Tree House and The Elm Lodge which are all close by. Windipine is located two miles from the Village of Nashville and four miles from Brown County State Park.
